SCHEDULE AND SERVICE TYPES

Schedule of Pick Up and Delivery

We will assign your schedule based on your address at the sign up. 

Monday/Thursday Schedule - Items picked up on Monday are delivered back on Thursday.
Tuesday/Friday Schedule - Items picked up on Tuesday are delivered back on Friday.

Periodic Service

If you use dry-cleaning service regularly, we can place you on a weekly or monthly pickup and delivery service.  PLUS drivers make weekly routes in your area, and  there is no need for making special arrangements. 

Called-in Service

If you use less frequent than once a month, you can always call in for a pickup.  We will make arrangements to be at your location the following route cycle days.  For infrequent service a minimum order of $45.00 is required for services outside the current routes.

If you are a part of a fundraising effort and are within the current pickup and delivery routes, the minimum requirement is three dry cleaned items, exclusive of the laundered shirt.

Sign Up

At the sign up, PLUS will provide courtesy laundry bags and a door hook.  Customers will be placed on a weekly route unless requested otherwise.  At the time of sign up, customers will select locations best suited for pick-up and delivery.  Normally, the pick-up and delivery locations will be your front door (outside the house).

HOW IT WORKS ONCE SIGNED UP

Pickup

PLUS will pick up from the designated location (normally at your front door) between 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. on the pickup day.  Deliveries normally occurs between 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the third day. 

For our pick-up, place your bag at front door steps (outside the house) or designated area.  Our routes change daily; therefore, all orders for pick-up shall be ready by 7:30 a.m.  Once we complete our routes, any return visit for pick-up will be per request and will incur a $10.00 Special Run charge.

Delivery

On the day of delivery, please have the door a hook hung at the delivery location.  This enables us to leave your garments.  When we arrive, we will place the items on the hook and will ring your door bell. 

If there is no hook located at the designated location, our drivers will attempt delivery by ringing the door; however, when no one answers, the items will not be left at your location.  This would be considered as Empty Run, there will be an additional charge of $10.00 for subsequent attempts of delivery.  Each attempt will be charged separately, or you may wait until the next delivery day.

When severe weather prevents us from leaving the finished garments at the designated location, we will make every effort to deliver on the next day at our discretion.

Laundry Bags

  1. Ensure your name and telephone number are indicated at the bottom left corner. If an identifying sticker is not attached, please indicate your name and phone number.
  2. If you do not have a courtesy bag, a white kitchen trash bag or any other plastic bag is fine, provided your name, phone number and piece count is identified outside the bag.
  3. Count your dry-cleaning articles.  The detachable items shall be separately counted, such as belts, detachable hoods...etc.  Your bag will be reused; therefore, please provide the count information next blank in column and row with the date information.
  4. Plus Cleaners will verify the count and will notify any difference via e-mail.  Please note, our item count must be accepted as final.
  5. Secure the bag opening to protect against incidental water/rain.  Our drivers will note the bag closures and water intrusions.  PLUS will not be responsible for damages due to unsecured bags.

STAIN AND OTHER INSTRUCTIONS

If there are spots on your garments, please use a form available from the web-site, or include a note identifying the stained garment, type of stain and age.  We will do our best to remove the stain.  However, please note that some stains can not be removed due to type of stain and fabric.  Not all stains come out even with our best efforts.

If a garment is damaged or not serviceable upon our inspection, we will contact you by telephone or e-mail at our discretion.  PLUS will return the item to you without being cleaned.  Following are what we may consider damaged or items not serviceable.  It is not a comprehensive list.  We can dry-clean or launder these items with your prior approvals.

Do not remove garment label and care instructions attached by the manufacturer.  Cleaners rely on these instructions for determining the best method of taking care of your garments.  Garments with these tags removed may be returned without being cleaned.

Notify us immediately if a garment is lost or damaged. 

PLUS adheres to Liability Limited Under Section 8-654 VA. Law.

HOW DO I PAY?

You can pay by credit card or by monthly billing. The credit card payment method is easier for both you and PLUS.

The monthly billing will require a separate credit application backed by a credit card if a checking account is used. There will be a interest rate charge of 14% APR (1.166667% / month) on balances outsanding 25 days.
